Thomas Midgley
Possibly the single greatest polluter in the history of forever. The Talented Mr Midgley was not only responsible for first putting lead in petrol, he also put CFCs into our fridges and freezers. But apparently it did all turn out alright in the end... rendered bed-bound by Polio at the age of 51, the ever-inventive Mr M developed a system of ropes and pulleys to help him move about more freely. In a glorious demonstration of poetic justice, the thing rounded on him one day and strangled him to death.
So he's dead now. However so great was his villainy that, even posthumously, he's ripe for our bile and hatred.
